About the Client
Talent Culture is an Australian HRTech company that helps organizations understand their teams through continuous engagement tracking. Their mission was to move beyond traditional annual surveys and build a platform that provides live cultural intelligence — showing how people actually feel and collaborate day to day.

The client needed a platform that could process large volumes of feedback, visualize engagement patterns, and generate meaningful insights for leadership teams. The challenge was to design a system that feels approachable for employees yet powerful enough for HR analytics — combining ease of use with analytical depth.

Built a scalable backend with Node.js and PostgreSQL to manage surveys, feedback sessions, and engagement scoring with modular API layer for HR system integrations
Developed an interactive React dashboard with D3.js visualizations showing engagement levels, sentiment trends, and team comparisons with responsive design
Created a continuous feedback module allowing employees to share anonymous insights with NLP-powered sentiment analysis and engagement scoring algorithm
Automated recurring reports for leadership teams, including engagement indexes and burnout risk scores with alert systems for sudden drops
Applied data encryption and anonymization for employee responses with optimized backend queries to handle thousands of concurrent submissions
