About the Client

Wello is an Australian health-tech startup that promotes long-term wellness through habit-based coaching. The platform combines lifestyle tracking (nutrition, sleep, hydration, exercise) with lessons and courses from certified professionals.

Main request

The founders wanted to create a full-featured mobile app that merges traditional coaching with AI-generated recommendations. They needed an intuitive design, a reliable data-tracking system, and an admin panel to manage experts, content, and subscriptions — all from scratch.

What we did

Designed the product architecture and user flow for a full health ecosystem with scalable data models

Developed a Flutter app for iOS and Android with tracking modules for water, sleep, food, and mood

Built a backend with Node.js and PostgreSQL supporting user profiles, course modules, and progress data

Integrated AI features using custom LLM logic for article generation, personalized advice, and course content management

Created a web-based admin panel for managing experts, courses, and AI content output with notification systems

Problem solving

The main focus was balancing the human-expert experience with AI personalization. We designed a hybrid model: professionals create structured programs while the AI provides real-time recommendations and contextual learning materials.
